A near-future science fiction series of novels exploring our relationship with AI and corporate power. The three novels follow Kat Keeper, a startup founder who hires an AI savant to create a software version of her deceased husband.

Surrender, the first novel, explores how a love triangle develops between Kat, the AI expert, and the husband’s digital avatar. Kat must choose between supporting the AI she has helped develop or fighting against the corporation that has taken it too far, using it to track everyone’s inner thoughts.

Resist, the second, traces how Kat leads an all-female band of rebels opposing corporate AI surveillance. She and her co-organizer, Ravven Vaara, are accused of murdering the world’s top AI executive and must go on the run.

Liberation, the final novel in the series, begins as Kat helps her friend Ravven, who may have taken leave of her senses. Ravven believes orcas are reaching out to humans about the climate crisis. Kat is skeptical at first, but as the story unfolds, it’s revealed that the animals of the Earth are pushing back against the humans who have destroyed their habitats.

The trilogy addresses contemporary concerns about technology, surveillance, and the climate crisis. Relevant for readers interested in how AI might impact human relationships and society and the shifting balance of power that use of AI will bring.
